Watercolour paper? Interesting texture it's given for this, although I think it somewhat takes away somewhat from the impact of her character.
I think she looks better without the ponytail, personally. Little less "miss priss" so to say...

It's not watercolor paper. It's just some paper with stupid texture on it. I don't like it and I didn't realize my prismacolor pencils didn't work well with the texture until it was too late.
I don't know how you'd ever think of her as a "priss", assuming you mean priss as in a bitch, female equivalent of a prick or a superficial girl.

I did not mean priss = bitch. I meant she looks more down-to-earth and with a bit more spunk than before; the short hair makes her seem less "girly".

Coloring pencils aren't that hard to use actually. The problem is the paper... My paper here has an unwanted texture...
