You're attention to cybernetic design is astounding. Seeing as My Flagship OC is a Cyborg, maybe you may be able to give me a few tips on his construction. I do very much enjoy the feeling and depth of these pieces.

Hmm, well, when you draw a cyborg, it's generally the same as drawing a human body form with all the muscles and such, except you are replacing the round muscles with more geometric and inorganic shapes to create metal armor plates to cover the body. Truly it's up to your imagination how the armor skin would look, but it's always nice to roll with a theme to the armor, like scifi or medieval styles, to fit the universe or environment they are in. If you need help on drawing certain devices to add to the character, you can always check google images to search for references to work from.

But really, the most important thing to remember is how anatomy and form of the body works while drawing; it will tell you what parts fit well so that the character doesn't look clunky or seem it has trouble moving.

I hope that is enough tips to help you out. Sorry if I didn't give much helpful advice.

Hi, I love this piece and would like to use it as cover art for a scifi / fantasy novel. Could you please email me and let me know if you would be interested in this?

Thanks,

Dan

Hmm... depends. Are we talking about using the piece as the cover for a story on the Internet, or for an actual published book?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Didn't know I wouldn't get an email update on this. Yes, it's for an actual book.

Thanks,

Dan

Hi again, I greatly apologize for not sending an email, my mistake.

I thank you for appreciating my artwork and that you are reaching out and giving me this opportunity. I usually charge $75 for drawings I've already made, to help me support my school expenses.

Best regards,

Vincent (aka Tarantad0)

Is it possible you could do an original for me, the same style? I'd need it to be a cross between a red fox and an asian female. I could send you pictures for reference and sizing information. I would be using it for my upcoming urban fantasy novel about a Kitsune (Japanese fox demon) who transforms into a woman. I'd need the rights to it so I could use it for the cover art and promotional materials related to the book. I would give you cover art credit in the book and a hyperlink if you have one. How does $300 sound?

Let me know,

Dan

Sounds interesting! I accept your commission. Just give me links to the references here, or you can send the pictures, information, and other details you would like to my email (3vincent.hechanova@gmail.com). Once that is done, I will get started on drawing it up.

Best regards,

Tarantad0

What exactly are the arms? I can't tell if that's his raw body or something plated or shrouding him.
