I. Love. SHAKESPEARE.
English student, its kind of mandatory. And that dancing potato in the info is the bees knees.

Haha I love Shakespeare too! I actually used to hate English because I read embarrassingly slowly, but my girlfriend got me back into reading and got me involved at her dad's Shakespearean playhouse, so I came around eventually.
Gotta love the dancing potatoes Β Β Β Β Β Β Β

That's so awesome that you got into it. It makes me sad when people say they don't read (reading snob, it's unintentional)

Could be interesting, but I don't think color is really necessary for this one. It stands pretty damn well as is. Although, if you did want to keep working on it, I'm sure it would only magically improve. Honestly I'm having a hard time seeing how.

Why thank you
I want to see what it would look like with color, but I might not color it solely because I'm too lazy. Also I'm trying to submit it to YoungArts, and the deadline is approaching.
By the way, are you applying to youngarts?

Dunno if I'm going to make that one, but I should be trying. Thank you for the reminder. I'll definitely plan better next year.
Maybe try coloring a page or two in Photoshop, see how you like it?

Beautiful work. I like the symbolism of the figures and the way you rendered the panel borders.

Awesome!
It would be interesting to experiment with a color version. Perhaps bolder colors washing out to more subtle tones as the comic progresses..

This is beautiful. I'm an actress/playwright and spent some time at the globe, so I guess I just resonate with this. Β It's really very cool though.

It looks good in black and white, but I am interested in seeing how it looks in color too.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing a limited color scheme. It all depends on whether I can get my ass in gear and actually color it though :'D

At first I liked it in black and white, but about halfway through I thought, "You know, this could really use some color." Not a whole lot, just a little extra, like what andiree said.

Thanks for the feedback! I think I'll color it lightly, leaving some parts black and white.Β

it is. I would never speak negatively about anothers art. To do so would be in poor taste. dont you agree?

Thank you!! You give the best feedback.
I think I'm going to color it lightly just to see how it turns out. But I'm glad I scanned the un-colored pages first, in case it goes horribly wrong :'D

This would look AMAZING in color, with emphasis on the faceless, completely white figures. It's a wonderful comic nonetheless.

tarantellino In reply to andiree [2014-10-05 18:11:57 +0000 UTC]
Thank you! I think I'm going to color it with watercolors and leave some parts white for emphasis. Even if it doesn't work, I have scans of the black and white pages, so I have nothing to lose.
Thanks for the feedback :^D
