Description All right. This is my latest tutorial. I know I promised to write a tutorial on variations, but I got distracted and wrote one on how to do scripting and animation in apophysis instead.

This tutorial explains how to script and animate a fractal clock. I had a great deal of fun with it and I hope you will too.

Here is the link to the tutorial:

As always, any and all feedback and comments are greatly appreciated.

Many thanks *Keeps , who gave me the script that let me write this tutorial. Also, thanks to the friendly Apodicts in the *Apophysis chat room: you guys rock!

I loved the coloring tutorial now it's time to try animation. It may take a couple of tries!

ta da!

I made a parametric animation, where I rotate one XF one way and another XF the other.

You may want to improve on your site navigation, so you can get to the other tutorials when you are in a tutorial.

The clock animation could be the most creatively amazing thing I've seen done using Apo. And the tutorial is very informatively helpful, and now I know that when some scientists count, they start with zero.

Thank you for the great comment- it really strokes my ego. I'm glad the tutorial helps- I try and make them as informative as possible.

And it's not scientists in general that count from zero- just computer scientists. And a few mathematicians. Because we can't start from one like normal people, oh no...
