Gawd I struggled so hard with this page, and had to make so many edits in photoshop that I might as well call this digital instead of traditional TwT
Why leather? Just asking. Why leather?
I’m note sure if you’ve noticed, but Atem and Yuugi haven’t used their old petnames for each other until now. I guess you can say that it makes it truly final; Atem is back and he’s here to stay ;w;
But yeah, I’ve filled the comic to the brim with small details like that, so keep your eyes open and you might spot them all ;D
I also took huge artistic liberties with Yuugis room; there’s no effing way there would be enough space for another bed! But sssschhhhhh, let us ignore that.

There actually might be enough space but it's be like a really tight sqeeze. The beds would end up being super close together it'd be like in a motel that advertises two beds but what they actually mean is there's a temporary sqeaky bed frame in the wardrobe and the room is already a matchbox actual bed + sqeaky bed = cramped nightmare that leads to many a trip hazard.

That's a very good emotional swing! I mean sure he used to live as a Pharaoh but for 3000 years he had no body and after that for years he lived into someone's body so have a body of his own once more after more than 3000 years is like being all new to him once more! I am sure I would think that way too if I were in his shoes!

Aww there's something I like so much in your comic right now... it's those little hand holding! It's really close to an idea I had that if they really had the chance to meet again, no matter they would be friends or boyfriends, Yuugi and Atem would need to touch. Not necessarily in a 'I want to rip your clothes off and have my way with you' but more in the 'you're here, I'm happy' way I like that you draw them equal in that sense too. First Atem took Yuugi's hand when getting off the plane, then now Yuugi also shows this kind of closeness without blushing like crazy (like usually 90% of fanfics or comics). I like how natural it feels... and I like fluff so ALL HAIL TO YOU!
I think you're doing a remarkable work in setting up a nice, smooth story for them and I'm eager to read more! I also like your drawing of course, it does feel like hands are difficult to draw but please don't stop

Meep, I'm so glad you noticed the hands! And yes, that is certainly one of my absolute favorite things when it comes to puzzleshipping, as both a bromance and romance; natural touch with no embarrassment at all! They shared a body once, so in my head they're kind of beyond the concept of personal space, or at least their boundaries look very different than other peoples'.
And don't worry, this is a project I've dreaming to make more than a year now, and I'm so happy I'm doing it I won't give up

I like the way you're saying it, indeed, after sharing a body for so long, their concept of personal space must be really different... although they have so much to discover yet now that Atem has his own real body
Of course my mind is already thinking 'Yuugi, Atem, 1 bedroom, 2 beds... 1 bed is enough', but I enjoy the nice pace, the gentle feelings, the relief of being together again as well as all the new things Atem has to adapt to. You convey all those feelings greatly and make a me a very happy Puzzleshipper too

Indeed! I don't want to talk too much because damn I was so close to do that now TwT but yes, new body definitely means so much to explore! And damn has that been fun to throw myself in! Gaah, I seriously can't wait for all the stuff I want to show! I'm just as impatient as a reader
