Description Genesis Park: Dacentrurus armatus
Age: 150MYA
Location: Europe; Portugal
Length: Up to 10 meters
Weight: Up to 7 tons
Diet: Herbivorous
Rating: 3 stars
The largest Stegosaur discovered, there is very little that poses a true threat to Dacentrurus. They are easily identified by their bright blue and yellow scales. The females and males both have the same color scheme, with the females having paler blue and yellow scales. Their plates and spikes are solid black, brown, or a mix o the two and are easier for predators to see. The mothers are very protective of their young and stay with them through adulthood. They have a very heavy build and can rear up for a limited amount of time. Plants that lay low to the ground are their main diet, but on occasion, as with all the cloned Thyreophorans, they will enrich their diet in ways like eating carcasses of long dead animals. Usually, they live in groups of around 5 consisting of all genders and ages. It is not uncommon for them to live by themselves though. They do best in the drier, less forested areas of the islands. Tyrannosaurs, and Carnosaurs will be very cautious around these animals, but Megalosauroids will usually attack them. Their babies and juveniles are also preyed by Raptors and other small Theropods often.
Alternate colors: Orange mostly with a green back, dark red/blue plates and spikes
Light grey with a strange black pattern on the sides, dark green/grey plates and spikes

Oh yeah, it's back. This is what they'll look like from now on.
