Description Something different this time around, this time a screenshot taken from a battle in my Rome: Total War campaign. I'm the Julii (the red guys on the right) fighting the Roman Senate (purple guys on the left). While normally the Senate and the Julii got along, my faction got too popular with the commonfolk and they demanded that my faction leader commit suicide. I refused, and war resulted. Luckily I had thought ahead and built up an army of Praetorian Cohorts set to invade the Senate's lands the moment the war kicked off, and this is merely the second of a series of curb-stomps that I delivered to the Senate before smashing what was left of their armies at a river near Rome itself. Those little bow-and-arrow icons on most of the units mean that they're attacking from range, which means that the Senate army is about to get a face full of pilas. At the moment, though, I'm now making my way down the Italian peninsula taking the capitals of the Brutii and Scipii families while simultaneously fighting the Brutii up in Central Europe and fighting a war with Egypt in Turkey. So yeah, we're in a bit of a pickle.

AVE ROMA!

This game looks Fuu-un~!

You have a full war going on. The Brutii and Scipii, the Egypt in Turkey, and the Senate army. A bit of a pickle indeed. O_o

That's the fun part about playing as the Romans, the huge civil war. The Senate is usually pretty easy to take on, but the other two Roman factions become goliaths. Makes for some great battles, and memorable campaigns. Cheers.
