UPDATE 08/02/2012 #2It's finally finished
My personal favourite in this one is Kelpie, I really like how he turned out 
From left to right:
The horses of the apocalyptic riders (War, Death [Binky], Pestilence and Hunger), Kelpie, Steed (Saber Rider)
Hippocampus, Pegasus, Old man (Pippi Longstocking)
Jolly Jumper (Lucky Luke), Black Beauty, Sleipnir, the last unicorn

OLDER VERSIONS
The first four ponies from my new project "My famous pony - Popularity is magic" are finished.
The whole project is about drawing famous horses from movies, tv-shows mythology and stuff. And so I stated with the horses of the apocalyptic horsemen mainly inspired by the Discworld versions. I'm not quite shure what the names of the red, brown and black horses are but the white one name is Binky
(please tell me if you know the names of the other three).I won't reveal who the other ponies are until I finished their drawings so have fun guessing (some are pretty obvious, others aren't).
I also will upload a higher resuluted version when it's finished.

So, have another pony. This time it's the old man from Pippi Longstocking. He was very easy to draw (unlike the apocalyptic horses).

I just added Steed from Saber Rider. She was a bit difficult but I hope I maneged to get her right. I also tweaked Black Beauty, since I totally forgot to het the sock on his right frontleg (thanks to ~WonderlandStables who pointed it out to me).

I finished the Hippocampus or Seahorse from the greek Mythology. I don't *really* like the way he turned out, but I just couldn't get it better...

After about a month, I found some time to work on this pic again. May I introduce to you: The Pegasus (with Belerophons golden holster) and the last Unicorn also known as Lady Amalthea. Hope you like it

Hurr, funny that you bring that up.
I don't know if you are familiar with Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, but the apocalyptic riders in these novels (on which I based my pony versions) are compared to the Beatles at some point (I think it's mentioned in The Art of the Discworld. And then there is of course the metal-band Die Apokalyptischen Reiter

I'm not really into horse movies but I love classic fantasy and the last unicorn is a prime example for that genre. Plus, the chracters and the art and the music and EVERYTHING is so god damn awesome

yeah,lol,i agree,and the imagination the only problem i had with the movie was all the unicorns looked "Exactly" the same,you couldnt tell any of them apart,not even from the main one xD

Now that you say it... I never really cared about that part actually. Maybe because I'm just to used to anime? I mean, in most series, you only have a maximum of five character models. But compared to the haman characters in the movie, who all look basicaly different... well, the awesomenes of the movie makes up for that little flaw

There is clearly a hippocampus unicorn and pegasus. I saw the Black Beauty and figured it was him but wasn't sure since he had no sock.
