On Easter Island, the largest Ahu is Tongariki. The main Ahu has fifteen Moai facing towards the mountain in this shot. This Moai is off on his own facing main Ahu. At the base of the left side of the mountain is the quarry where all the Moai on Easter Island were carved. There are still many unfinished moai scattered around the quarry.Related content
