Description
The Horishima Peace Memorial, commonly known as the A-Bomb Dome is the ruin of the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall, partially destroyed in the first atom bomb attack on Hiroshima in 1945. It now forms part of the peace park which runs along the banks of the Ota and Motoyasu rivers in Hiroshima.
Blend of 4 exposures of , 89s, 45s, 30s and 8s Canon 500D with EF-S 10-18mm at 12mm f/14 ISO100.
Blended in Photoshop with RayaPro and finshed with NIK Software

Thanks. Being there, particularly at night brought a very somber mood to this shoot. I've tried to bring that sense of loss, pain and sorrow that I felt by muting the colour and warmth from the shot.
