Banner number 2 of the series of 3.Well actually, this one was the LAST one I did, ad I have to admit, I went 180 with the BG.
Originally, the BG was a day scene, and honestly I penciled out the image on green Canson paper only to change it when putting it into my com. I accidentally (well, I was pissed and went mouse-crazy) moved the hue bar way off to the side (mouse-crazy because of frustrated lag) and found that when the pic was blue with a pink sky it look a LOT more fitting for the mood between these two characters (mouse-crazy has itβs moments!).
So I re-edited it. I think I made the right choice!
As I forgot to say in the last one, the BGs to each of these have to have some sort of reflection or connection to the characters.
With Inu and Kag it was the dense forest ands the huge tree- where they met, and where they travel together.
For Miroku and Sango, the little memorial is representative of the spirituality and the familial loss both have endured.
Iβm so deep, I nearly drowned sometimes.

I really like the background you found for this picture, Tarkheki. It has a elegent, oil-painting quality to it that goes well with the couple you have on display here.
And speaking of which, Sango and Miroky look very flattering in your depiction--much more refined than they appeared in the anime. Well done!

This is probably my favorite of these images. Not my favorite trio, but I do like them a lot. And, they just came out so nicely here.
I can't put my finger on just why this one is my favorite, let alone put it into words properly, but... Sango looks lovely, Miroku's expression is just so perfect for him and Kirara is adorable. The color is so wonderfully soft, and the characters and the background complement each other wonderfully.

I did always believe that this piece and the Sessh piece were stronger than the Inu piece mainly becuase the background lent some kind of colorfull match to the characters. Inu's BG is a little almost monochromatic, but I still insisted to put it as it is.

I like the theme of the background especially since it has symbolism for the characters shown. And it's traditional under a "cell-shaded" drawing....just like how the professional animators do it.........Is that suppose to be a fox? Its kitty eyes makes me think so. Damn those manga artists cutesifying animals to the point they're unrecognizable.

However, I have to correct you on the announciaiton.. while Kirara is the original Japanese announciaiton, "Kilala" is just as acceptable. "R" and "L" in japanese are interchangeable, and not vital in the pronounciation of names. XD
