Description
ToI sat and drew for a period of 2 hours. I was trying to capture Wicket's unique, charming, and incredibly personality in the caricature of her.
For those who don't know, Wicket had the elegant feline body structure you would compare with Nicole Kidman, the effeminate gestures of Audrey Hepburn, and the piercing gaze of Kate Beckinsale... and STILL one cannot describe or compare her unique persona and creation. She was a class all on her own. And as much as I hope to have caught a glimmer of this cat in my image, I can guarantee it is NOTHING like what she was.
Mark, she's in a better place now, all the while remembering all the love you had and gave her. I'm very sure she'll be hanging about.

My condolences to your friend 
Well, I tend to keep away from cats due to allergies, your portrayal of this feline certainly is a cat that I would have a hard time taking my eyes off of. Beautiful work, especially the way the light source just outlines her and the way her Kate Beckinsale eyes are so incredibly luminous.
Again, my sympathy. Although she's probably kicking the ass of all the other cats up in heaven and making tomcat heads' turn

Remember this, animals always come back for their human companions whenever they're in need, mostly in spirit. It hurts very much losing your friend, wether they're fuzzy or mostly bald within or outside of similar species. I miss my giant fuzzy Gobi, he was a very sweet dog which I had 3 or 4 years ago. But I know he comes around to check up on and and is waiting for me to come back home to see him again. I'm sure Wicket is also now waiting for her companion to come alive again on the other side and cause more mayhem like they have done so in life.
Though breif, short, and sweet. Life teaches us many things about ourselves and others that we don't know about until our worlds fall apart and back together peice by everlasting peice.

He liked to sharpen his claws on the wire meshing of the screendoor downstairs, and whenever we caught him doing that ("Titate! Tcht, tcht! No rasguΓ±es!") he would answer our scoldings as such; first he would freeze and look at us with deer-caught-in-headlights-type eyes before hastily removing his paws from the mesh. Then he would casually sit down while simultaneously turning his back to us, tucking his tail over his paws before proceeding to wash, and all with an air of snooty dignity.
He also liked to pilfer chicken breasts right through our neighbors' open windows, but that was when he was much younger.
