the after image of a loved one,you'll start seeing them everywhere tbh. This is pretty much fine when things are good, but when they leave you, for whatever reason, the after image makes it extremely hard for one to forget about another.ΒRelated content

And I don't think you have to forget though, except if you want to. I mean, if you have good memories, you can keep them, right? As long as you're not losing yourself in those memories and crying over what you lost at least.

yep, it happens to me too. It's impossible to forget some people ineed, but who knows, maybe if they hadn't left us then, our current life would't achieve it's goal and we would naturally took the wrong path?

This is the best way to see it in my opinion. If someone left you, then it was probably for the best. The relationship (no matter the kind of relation) would just have deteriorated to nothing to become a shell of its former self.
And even if it hurts, a lot sometimes, there is still a way to see a bright side: meeting new people, learning from your mistakes...
