Beautiful photo, you pulled it off well. I love the woolen hat you're wearing, I'd love one of those. Amazing expression, you did a good job with this. : )

me too~ such good styles in each time period. I mean obviously there were total nutter looks too, but every era had some brilliant addition to the anals of fashion.

Indeed.
I don't really mind modern fashion much either, to be honest, but I do prefer vintage, especially 50's - 80's. My sunglasses for instance, are from the 50's, and I get so much praise for them, and so many heads turn when I wear them. Someone actually stopped me in the street one day and said I have awesome sunglasses. xD

Haha, that's amazing. I can imagine! My fiancΓ©'s mom also makes a lot of her own clothes and people keep asking her where she bought them. They're surprised when she tells them they're her own creations. I think that's pretty darn awesome. :3

Thanks! At some point my friend and I want to do a Through the Ages set where we pick a pose or series of poses and then dress up in classic outfits from each decade and string them in a row. I'm looking forward to flapper time.

Amoryl In reply to tarorae [2009-09-04 04:19:11 +0000 UTC]

that would be awesome

it'd be hellishly difficult, perhaps, but I think it'd be awesomely cool to have each pose for the ages slightly different, so if you look at them in series, you look like you're also moving through them as well, like walking or something

you could even do something simple like taking a drink of something, be ambitious enough and work your way through the appropriate drinking vessels

Nice.

I can think of a couple of variations like that. And the props will lend it a sense of detail to fill out the scene...

I'm honestly going to start sounding like a creep, but you have such beautiful features, and you always take interesting photographs. I totally love the hat here, and the expression.

Good photograph in general, too.

This one was my favourite shot from the whole shoot. :3
