So this is really old lineart - hence why it's so small - it's before Wen convinced me to work on a larger canvas. So, I finally got around to colouring it.It's Ahd'ar'ohk casting flame off his stave. I'm still ass at lighting and layers confuse me.
Slowly working on trying to improve my colouring.

Thank you. I'm trying to figure out how to get more depth in my colours, they've been feeling so flat lately, and i don't know how to do it, especially not efficiently.

You really have come a long way on everything. I think you're making significant progress on dynamic lighting (Something of which I cannot grasp either.) This one really does look very nice and I adore how serious his face is. Hehe. <3

Yeah, Ahddy usually looks so serene, I like putting him into pictures where he's forced to involve himself emotionally. Here he's kicking ass.
Thanks so much. I have a -really- hard time with dynamic lighting, but of the dynamics, firelighting is easiest for me to grasp. Any other tones and i'm all: it looks weird! what did i do wrong??

Take a close look at your coloring and gradiant work on the faces. You've come so far! This is beautiful work.

Thank you! I had an issue where i hadn't coloured anything in a long time, and then i went to go colour another picture i'm working on, and it looked like ass, and i was all: wait a second, i can't let myself get worse, so i pulled this one out to try to get a handle on things again. Now to go finish the other 8 million unfinished drawings i want to complete and post.
