The four quarters are symbols of the four seasons formed in tropical monsoon climates in Asia like Vietnam.
Originally from China, over time, thanks to cultural interference, the four quarters have been elevated into an artistic symbol of many different cultures.
The Quartet of painting is the expression of completeness, solidity, eternity, happiness... and has appeared in many cultural and artistic works, both mainstream and folk.
Especially in Vietnam, people living here consider that the Quartet of paintings is a symbol of luck, wealth, and prosperity, ...
Each picture is also it’s own image, with it’s own meaning, and in my " My Vietnam" project,
I want to combine some elements of modern life besides the traditional cultural value, I want to introduce traditional beauty to modern viewers.
