Started out as a warmup sketch (which is why it's on very old, yellowing newsprint that's completely bled through now — appropriate given the subject) but I kept throwing whatever I had on hand at it (ink, tempura, grease pencil, colored pencil, acrylic) and it turned into something neat to look at.
