I think the lighting on this one is really interesting. The blue glow from below is done so well, and nicely contrasts the warmer-colored light from above. I also think the way the light is shining on the grass in the foreground is intriguing. I don't normally think about the individual shapes of blades of grass,  but it's just so interesting to see them curved and imposing there in the foreground. I think the grass in the front, the character and then the grass in the back, in combination, make for nice transitions between foreground, middleground, and background.
