Oopsy, almost forgot to post this.

Now I don’t want to say I HATE Euphoria (especially season 1), but I don’t think it’s necessary good either. I just feel like season 1 now yes far from perfect, had great moments and character development for the characters, and season two should have never been released (though I will give it points for being funny AF) since it sort of ruins all that, and I feel like they should have made a short or something to show us some of the after math of what happened.

But anyway, since Euphoria is kinda… racist I decided to re-imagine Maddy Perez from Euphoria a bit. I already explained a bit all this in the past, but here’s a quick reminder,

Maddy is the popular girl, Cassy’s, best friend. Now yes Cassy is more popular then her, Maddy is as well but more of in a “I’m friends with everyone in school because we’re chill like that” then “Mean Girls but make it a bit more realistic way” I guess (Hope I explained it right)? She isn’t really popular because of her looks per say or she’s tends with fashion or something, she’s just that one chill person in your school who is just… chill.

Now yes her parents care for her, but their kind of absent do to them having to work a lot since they are Latin American people in a predominantly white town. They still care though, and try to always be there for her, and always make up for their absence with all she needs and more. But she’s still kinda lonely most of the time, so she kinda leaned more into being with friends instead (this why she’s so popular). Granted, they have become more attentive and caring and more in her life to help her heal after a business trip her parents had when she was eleven, she Maddy having a not so pleasant experience with an older man there.

She’s known to be pretty chill and probably the voice of reason most of the time since her (out of all of her friends) is probably the most healthy minded out of every one of her close close friends (granted she still has some issues she’s working out in therapy and stuff and her parents). Until she began to date Nate fucking Jacobs.

Now, here the reason why Nate dated her is just so he could manipulate her into something she’s not and to take advantage of her. Now yes after a particular incident she did break up with him for good because of how controlling and abusive it is with him, she still had to get a fuck ton more therapy. Since she was already in therapy, do to past traumas with older men and then taking advantage of her (like I previously stated).

She does get better as the series ends, she’s no longer with Nate and she’s beginning to heal and stuff and yeah, just good stuff.
