This photo was amazing to me. I was hiking the Superior Hiking Trail from Oberg Mountain to Lutsen resort and came upon this stairway leading up to the top of the mountain. Something just told me this was something to take a snapshot of, so I did and to this date it is my absolute favorite photo! I hope you enjoy it!
It was shot using an Olympus Stylus Tough 6020

Thank you, it was on the cooler, shadier side of the "mountain" (That's what we call hills here in Minnesota!

I believe the elevation was about the same. Yes, the day was beautiful! I slept in the tent without the rainfly, and that night, I went out to my kayak campsite near Palisade Head and camped under the stars w/o my tent!

Funny thing is, this isn't even close to the standards of some of the photo clubs I submitted it to. (of course they rejected it, but hey it happens) If you check out my journal, I explain how i get my shots by 'feeling' more than anything right now. Keep an eye out, I always add more!
