This is supposed to be Jane, that is, Tarzan's Jane, looking a bit like Tarzan in this pose with the leopard skin get-up. Who says she can't put on the leopard skin herself now and then, just to get in a sort of junglely mood. I did this drawing with a Tuscon Red Color erase pencil, probably my favorite color to draw with.Related content

She is breathtakingly beautiful and very sexy.
When I read the stories I was always torn between wanting Tarzan to ditch Jane and go ahead with La of Opar. Cuz, you know, she's really hot, she already speaks apese, she's really hot (did I just say that?) she has long black hair, she's hot she's cool with running around naked showing Tarzan the Ape Man what she's got.
But when I see this piece I finally understand why Tarzan didn't ditch Jane

Nice work, Dave. I like the red too. For the pulp characters, it adds the feeling that the picture is from the late 19th/early 20th century period. Maybe Meriam next...? Cheers.

Please be respectful to the artist -this is not pornography. If you are going to be making such insinuations then you should fully understand what constitutes as porn (and this is not it.) Also, understand that this Jane from "Tarzan," so the outfit is completely in taste based on the character.

But the whole pic is great! She's got amazing face and hairs

Hey, thanks once again for your comment. You know what's funny is that everytime I look at this piece I feel the same way you do, I just love it to death. It's never good to fall in love with your own work, but this one sort of takes me aback, without sounding like I've got a big head or something, but I surprised myself with this one. My favorite piece for the year!

All your work is fantastic, I just wish I could see you do a pinup of Arwyn from Sojourn! She's my favorite character and is going to be published again sometime in 2011! I've always wanted to see how she would look in your epic style! (I'm sure I've mentioned this before.) Of course I understand how busy you are, this is no way a gripe.
