This poster is influenced by Drew Struzan (of Star Wars poster fame). I love the way Struzan makes his posters look so epic and I was trying to capture the same element. Although I don't think mine is half as good...I'm pretty proud with this piece. I wasn't trying too hard to capture the likeness of the actors. In fact, for MJ I didn't base it on Kirsten Dunst at all (I don't like her). Rather...I just wanted to give them a resemblance of the actors but make them more true to the comic book.Related content

Very cool, I like how is has one of those epic movie scope.
I also like the offbeat colour choices for the skin tones. Nice to see what looks like Molina as Doc Ock, I thought his portrayal was really good, so its cool to see his menacing figure.
I actually though Kirsten Dunst did a god job with MJ, but thatβs just me.

Hey, I saw you on the Drawing Board!
Um...um...I like how you used the movie tenticles. In all honesty, I thought the comic's version was kind of lazy.
And the portraits are good as well. Good job on Harry Osborne (A.K.A James Franco, for people who are wondering.)
And on that note, I will end with this pointless bit of advice.
Always try to kick old people.

i really, really like it. i think its really cool and i like ur characters better than the actors. personally, i dont think kirsten was good for MJ either, but the movies r still good even if i dont agree with all of the casting. but i think this is really awesome and id like to see more like this cuz i really like how u did it. ^_^
