I know that Gingeriant is a psuedo redesign of Gingerman the Breadhard but for the context of this, let's say that the Breadhards and the Kolossians are... Sister species. So they can exist at the same time. Now that's out of the way, on with the lore of the species.

Back to the Nikoala System to look at the sister species of the Breadhards known only as the Kolossians. And unlike their sister species the Breadhards, they have 0 Taydenite in their dough and systems. Why? Let me explain.

After the great Pugnatian Migration and the Bakeoff happened, many Breadhards began the process of baking new Breadhards with Taydenite to make them stronger against their predators the Pekabreads. Now you would think that all Breadhards would be on board with this process. Well... YOU'RE WRONG!!

Not all Breadhards were up for the idea and called it a blasphemy and a disgrace to how they are baked. Many exclaimed that if the Taydenite was simply baked into, they lose what made the Breadhards so special. But their pleas were unanswered as the officials simply say that the people's future and survival is more important hence this change and why they set up the bake off in the first place, to find a way to make stronger and indestructible Breadhards to counter the Pekabreads. Needless to say, this erupted into a civil war with one side refusing to be rebaked with Taydenite in them while the other was trying to get them to conform to the new norm. Needless to say the stronger taydenite infused Breadhards drove the anti Taydenite ones off planet while those that wanna be infused stayed. This group searched for a planet to call home and was similar to Ginger. They know they can't go to the planet Pugantum due to the tense relationship between the Breadhards and the Pugnatians so they continued to search for a new home. Eventually... They did found a new home. One so similar to Ginger with ALOT more resources and the best part: No freaking Taydenite!

The normal Breadhards learnt from the Curslook, or at least a Curslook hermit on the planet, that the planet is called Koloss and the planet has been mostly empty of sapien speies for a millenia. They learnt that the last species were devoured by the local predators of the planet know only as the Velvohounds, cake like beasts that can be sapien but most have been primarily feral. Needless to say that if they were gonna live here, the normal Breadhards have to adapt.

And adapt they did. Not only that using the resources on the planet allowed them to make more normal breadhards but these new ones were alot stronger and more varied in types and flavors. Pretty soon, both old and new adopted the new species name of Kolossian and have been bussling ever since. They do butt heads with the Velvohounds but they got them mostly under control. When the Breadhards heard about the planet and how the breadhards that refused to have Taydenite infused are living, let's say they were livid but the Kolossians don't care. As long as their dough is pure and Taydenite free, they can continue to live and evolve with every new generation of Kolossian. Some have even learnt to alter their size and even build intricate bots based of waffle cones.

Marshall's Kolossian variant is known as the Chocolate Surprise Waffle Crepe Kolossian and in addition to the normal abilities of the Kolossian, he can summon huge robotic waffle arms to crush his opponents. Plus he becomes more intelligent with the downsize being that he wants to research EVERYTHING.
