Description
Bob is the old imaginary friend of Cose's back when she was a toddler hadn't had many friends. Being a literal drawn blob on a piece of paper, Bob acted as the perfect friend for Cose, helping her out and playing with her and being friendly. Sure his drawn form is wiggly at best but it was art. Her parents had to tell Cose when she was older to let Bob go so she can persue new friends for her life and she did but Bob.... Bob never really went away. Just suppressed in her mind.

In Silent Wonderland, Bob appears on both paths and would always try to get Cose's attention to play with him. On Salvation, she would play with him for a bit but over time she finds him annoying and too clingy and yells at him to get off. On the Damnation, Bob is ignored which both upsets and infuriates him. Both paths has him get increasingly more aggressive as the area he lives in, The Toybox, become warped and distorted with flesh growing over as it transforms into Otherworld. Eventually, Bob angrily demands why Cose won't play with him (Salvation) or Remember him (Damnation). In Salvation, Cose finally admits after remembering the 'games' she played with Bob as the very reason her parents told to let him go as he was a threat to her life. She remembers nearly going into the hospital after nearly being zapped by the electrical socket with a fork after taking one of Bob's dares.

In Damnation, Cose explained that after the accident that cost her her parents, her mind began to block alot of memories of her past, especially of her friends and Bob. This angers Bob as he yells that she was being a shitty friend and it's no wonder her mind is breaking apart.

In both paths, Bob transforms into a huge black blob with eyes on his body and hyper realistic ones on his head. He also develops a long probing like tongue which uses to attack Cose and grab her to suck out her brain and extension memories to make her suffer. The only way for Cose to beat Hell Bob or Amnesia as he is called in this form is to destroy the eyes on the his body to weaken him before destroying his main 2 eyes on his head causing him to screech in pain and bleed acid around the area destroying the pictures of Bob (Salvation) or destroying the toybox and the chain keeping the area up (Damnation). But in both paths, Bob is destroyed and erased from Cose's mind as he was deemed a 'Toxic Friend' by both Lady in Red and Abstract.

Symbolism:
Bob symbolizes a dormant darkside of Cose, one that seeks dangers and pain. A masochist one might say. He is also the representation of how lonely Cose was as a toddler before she made him but as he began to become more dangerous to Cose's life, he became the representation to Cose of a Toxic Friendship. Hell Bob represents the numerous eyes that stared at her in the hospital after the MCA that took her parents life and the representation of memory loss as memories are important to a person. When Hell Bob grabs and feeds on her, he is removing the memories of her life that she made both past and present as a way to punishing her for forgetting him.
