Description The first pics from Anime Weekend Atlanta 2011

I still have to write a whole journal on the experience before it stops being fresh in my mind.

All I can say about these is that I've definitely improved from 2 years ago. I figured out a makeup trick that really upped the overall look, and that was----covering up my eyebrows and painting new ones on my eyelids and going crazy with the eyeliner It helped.
It's great when you learn ways to improve your cosplays, even if it's just little adjustments.

Anyway...thanks so much <:') I tried to be the best Ulquiorra possible....but of course you can't beat the asian cosplayers rofl...but I'll keep trying and keep making it better.

Well usually when a place starts charging, it's because they are losing funds, and thus require a new source of funding to stay in the black But indeed, it isn't bad at all...it would be the cheapest con I've ever been to.

Of course I traversed the Artist's Alley....though I have to say, not as much fanart as I though there would be, or at least hardly any of any series I was familiar with....I'm guessing most were Atl. Scad students selling their original works I suppose since they're all trained and disciplined to not draw fanart lol. But there were some amaaazing original works there

Well the main reason you might not have seen as much fanart as you would have liked is because AWA has a very strict fanart policy these days xD Its very hard to maintain the fanart limit, so most people don't even sell it. I dunno if you remember, but we were the AA table with the Jack Skellington carboard cutout that had the face on it XD

I need better paint though, that stuff comes off waaay too easily D< Its a pain to have to keep reapplying it in the bathrooms every couple hours.

Well did youΒ΄ve tried out to use hair-spray to kinda seal it?
It worked perfectly on me.
I had worn my Kabuki-paint for around 15 hours.
Only the part, which my wig covered was abit removed.

Why so shocked? If youΒ΄ll hold your breath for a while and change the place it really works. I canΒ΄t stant ti inhale this unhealthy stuff too.
But IΒ΄m just doing it one or two time in a whoel year.....

Hmm I already use Theatre-paint, but combined with normal water-colours.

Hairspray is sooo bad for the skin! it's all greasy and will clog the pores....the last thing I wanted was to have acne all over my face when cosplaying :[

Yeah I did buy it, I can't make clothes/costumes for crap >:/ I wish i did. Though I made quite a few adjustments.
But thanks though I liked incorporating the heart into the cosplay, it was a necessary prop. It kept falling off though, and I lost the first heart in a matter of minutes after entering the con----all I could think was, 'I Need a heart!!I Need a heart!!'
