Thought it would be good to have an up to date example of the different styles I work in, with Resi as an exampleSemi Realistic - Pencil
My usual style. Some slight stylisation, not totally realistic. Focus on anatomy and natural textures.
Semi Realistic - Ink
Again, semi realistic like my usual style. But a bit looser and I exaggerate shapes and textures a bit more.
Stylized
Chibi-ish big-headed proportions with stylized shapes and textures. Still a bit of detail. I have fun with this style.
Mini
Like the stylized style with bigger heads and less detail. I used this style mainly for charm designs.
Separating my pencil and ink semi realistic styles. I tend to lean into more natural detail with pencil probably because the texture is just better for that look. But with ink I like to play with the shapes a bit more, plus it’s easy for line art to look messy with too much detail.
Semi Realistic Pencil and Stylized are traditional, the rest are digital.
