Description So since I can't see myself affording/justifying the sky high cost of nearly any Johan Models kit/assembled piece, and am game for a challenge most any time, I decided to build myself a John F Kennedy-era family hauler The Hard Way (TM)

I started with a well loved, late 60s era release of Processed Plastic Co.'s well done toy Olds wagon that was mastered from the Johan kit. Due to the semisoft plastic, I will have to use extra-fine wet sanding and Tamiya surface converter primer/Tamiya aerosol & brush paints for the exterior/interior finishes, and Loctite plastic bonder for small bits/E-6000 cement for larger ones for adhesives. Once these challenges as well as excising the 4 axle posts & the rear trailer hitch are undertaken, if successful all else should be very reasonable to get right.

Glass and chassis are from Motormax and AMT 1960s Ford Rancheros with quarter/vent wing glass to be scratchmade from acetate sheet and all glass white-glued in, parts bin hubcaps & 60s Chevy truck steering wheel, and I have parts to fix up the interior tub to be a little more accurate.
