I realise your Asian,
I know she’s black,
You know that I’m white.
But look into my eyes,
they see what you see.
Look at the sky above me,
I have the same ground below me.
Take the time to listen to my heart,
it echo’s in tune with yours.
We’re not the same
Yet we’re not really different.
How is it that a colour
A colour!
Can separate the world
Our history
Our minds
We see the same things
We walk the same ground
Out hearts echo the same tune
Don’t let a colour come between that.
