This took me nearly all afternoon until now to complete. My inspiration originates from the Vampire Chronicles I've been reading. I thought it'd be cool if there were to be another movie but based around the character, Lestat, and his origin (it's the second book). The logo wasn't tricky. It's used from an original logo but I just cut it down to fit in with the picture. And for the record, there's no such actor as Felix Molloy. I found the image while Googling and just got inspired to use it.Related content

Well I certainly hope they do come out with that movie. There is a rumor that they will make Tale of The Body Theif but no The Vampire Lestat.

I think alot of the fans could do a better job on the movies than the actual directors and writers. In fact, I've read several fan scripts that sounded good and would work. Too bad Hollywood has to screw everything up.
But I love this poster. When I saw it I was hoping it was an actual movie poster...

YES! There really does need to be a "Lestat" movie, but as others have said, not another hashed together job like QotD. That aside, the composition of this is really wonderful. I love the stance you've given Lestat a fantastic air of menace, aristocracy and passion - a potent combination indeed!

I know what you mean Neon. I used to love the movie until I read the book. I soon realized how far away the creators of the movie were from getting it close to the book. The movie is pretty bad once you've read the book. Where the hell was Mekare for example? The book was mostly about the twins whereas in the movie there is only Maharet.
I must say that the soundtrack to the movie was its strongpoint none the less. Though if there were to be a movie based around Lestat's (real) origin then the music would have to be totally different and original. The only times where it would have to be like it was in QOTD (but slightly more 80's) would be when Lestat awakens and at the end where he plays in San Francisco (not Death Valley).
I could talk about a movie for hours on end so I'll stop now while I'm ahead

Very nicely designed and dynamic poster!
Don't think there will be a Vampire Lestat movie for a while. The people who did "Queen of the Damned" purchased the rights to that book too and the resulting film was a rush job combination of the two books before the rights expired. A real mess in my opinion that I find almost impossible to watch without ranting and raving
