Yeah this is so old XDDD I drew it after hearing some kids talking about how lame and sissy sylveon was.... I asked "so, have you ever used one in battle?" They said no.... Soooooo i said "then you can still call it sissy or lame LOOKING, but you can't judge a pokemon by it's cover" ...... They looked at me with that look like "you're too old to play pokemon, you have no Β idea what sylveon IS do you?" -_- kids.......
Then later during my break i felt like drawing david (my sylveon from Y, who is in NO way prissy or girly) taking on the "sylveon stereotype"

I actually like it when people portray Sylveon as being polite, cute, and sweet because nice characters ( In my opinion) are the best.Β

i don't always make them mean or rude... Just, not "frilly" or "girly" which is an overdone stereo type
I see my sylveon david, here, as a brave and manly sylveon (so he's just sick and tired of being called "cute") he isn't mean

My Sylveon is polite, kind, empathetic, Β gentlemanly, and pretty feminine but not the flamboyant stereotype. I made him that way because I like males more on the feminine side.Β

If I wanted to battle someone I had to stand in one place until I saw someone else with Pokemon to challenge them! *waves a lamp in the air that I think is a cane* AND STAY OFF MY WI-FI DAGGNABIT!!!

I didn't have one for a long time cause I couldn't afford one XDD no allowance at that age...buuuut then one day in roswell NM I was taking a walk with my grandma, and i look down in an abandoned parking lot.... And there's a gameboy link cable........ A little beat up sure..... But i took it home, and it worked!

I've found with most people, they tend to make their sylveons either super cute and obnoxiously sweet looking....... Or super scary and sadistic........ I was tempted to make david like the latter.... Buuuuut i went with a more "average joe/leader" personality

Sylveon is on some of the highest charts of terrifying, with incredible sp defense and sp attack, it is a force to be reckoned with. 030

Yep, i use david to take out the entire elite four now XDDD even wikstrom (though some major hyperpotions have to be used afterward)Β

you should have told them to ask you trivia so they could see how much more than them you know
but yeah, there's a lot of Pokemon that just don't SEEM very good or that everyone says are bad, but if you actually use them they tend to surprise you ^^ just like my little Pachi (Pachirisu, I know I'm terrible with names xD), he wasn't the BEST Electric type I ever used, but he did his job well enough & Pickup was VERY helpful
& while I have grown to rather like Sylveon's appearance, it's especially fun to draw, Espeon & Shiny Glaceon are still in my opinion the prettiest, & that's just it, it's all a matter of opinion, & of course unfair stereotyping which is the issue you present here
anyway this was great, it's always nice to start the day with a laugh x3 thank you for that ^^

Totally should have..... But I was working, and had little time unfortunately.....
For me it was dunsparce.... I used one in crystal version as a "wow, I actually found a dunsparce, ha ha, it's so ugly and lame, maybe i should try and see what it can do" then I fell in love with him XDDD so many ways to make your enemies squirm... Spite, glare, it's serene grace ability and headbutt combined.....
Slowly but surely sylveon is fighting for #1 fave eeveelution for me... But beating espeon doesn't look possible *cuddles maxwell*Β
No problem, glad you liked this one enough to comment.... And this week I'll be scanning this (and hopefully some others) and should be fixing them up not to look so............ Muddy XDD
