ending of friendships always makes my shoulders heavy.
today was a heavy day.
people come in and out of your life all the time, but after 10 years of knowing someone you think if it was going to end at all.. it would end better.
i wish i could get it back. fuck, i dont even know why the friendship ended in the first place, which makes it even harder.

this was "our" song because one night we were sitting outstide of hollys house waiting for her after the american idol finale. we were bored because holly takes a million years and all the sudden we burst out into this song. i would sing a line, then she would sing a line. well, it was more yelling than singing. we were just laughing so hard. also i guess because we both felt home when we were together no matter where we were even if we werent in mchenry. as long as me, rachel, and holly were together we felt safe from the world.
