Description This painting was done with acrylic paints and various glazes. It is a portrait of sorts of my mother. I really liked the way it turned out. This was painted years ago. Painted on stretched canvass. Measures 24" X 30". I am interested to hear your thoughts on it.

I realise this isn't you most recent, but it just grabbed my attention.

The composition feels like a movie shot. She seems so keenly aware while the suits around her are just filling up the space.

Added to favourites.

Thank you...

I love your comment...I confess that I made this painting many, many years ago. It was painted from an old photo of my mother at a business convention. I intentionally omitted some details and the faces of others so that she would be the center focus an would be sort of surrounded by a sea of suits.

By the way, I found you, from reading some of your comments on other deviant artist pages. I really like your take on things and your writing style.
