I was really impressed with Peter Jackson's The Hobbit, mostly because I went in expecting something entirely different than what I got. I'm still angry it's been split into 2 (now I'm hearing 3?!) movies though. I understand wanting to tell a story RIGHT, but come on...at a certain point, your characters suffer because you leave em flapping in the breeze for a minute without any plot device to drive them forward. Expect film three to be THE HOBBIT: BATTLE. THE MOVIE. FOREVER.
