I looked at quite some actions that were meant to make pictures older and then looked at actual old pictures and found out that most people didn't think of adding a slight blur and the special lighting though most decided to add random scratches and stains. So here is an action with a slight blur but without scratches and stains.
Only tested for CS3.

Just checked and for me the download works fine as does the action in Photoshop CS4. I don't think a re-upload would solve your problem, sorry.

This is a great idea. It really looks old after the bluring. And it's not this disturbing like scratches. The sepia tones work very good too.

I just used this to present the photoshop action I made. Normally I do use my own pictures for that, but in this case I felt something else would be more fitting!

Thats truly a great piece of photography and manipulation. I love how you included the newer looking side with the faded one. Very good idea tav and it works so nicely

Thank you I wanted to add a tiny bit of an artistic feel to it but still present the action as good as possible. Glad you like it! I looked through a lot of old pictures to make the action and also looked through a lot of newer picture to find one that would also match the feel of the older ones

I am bored quite often!
I was bored and tried to make some stock-portrait look old and found that I was very unsatisfied with the available actions. Since I am quite good at using Photoshop I just thought I might try Glad you like it!
