So this is the training picture needed as payment for a breeding spot to SGS Violet Thunderbolt

While Ephy was away on her road trip Jet tried to keep the website and emails as up to date as possible, though he hated the job. He scribbled on one of his many to do lists 'find a secretary'. Nowadays the paperwork was becoming uncontrollable, and Jet really wanted to focus on Cally at the moment. He thought of all these things as he flicked through updates emails from stables all around the world. No doubt he was deleting ones Ephy would keep but he couldn't bear to sit here for hours. Suddenly something caught his eye, but too late, his finger had already clicked on the dustbin.

"Damn it!"

He finally found the deleted emails folder and prayed it was in there. Fortunately it was top of the list and he quickly opened it. Seinos Grand Stables had opened their top stallion, Violet Thunderbolt for breeding, and what was even more surprising to Jet was that he had been officially papered as an Obertaurer. Before he'd even finished reading he was on the phone. He knew exactly which mare he wanted to breed to this stallion, and he was already on the phone, praying he would be in time.

Jet had made the journey over to Ireland to see the stallion in person and sort out the final details. Despite his cool exterior he was excited to see the Olympic gold medallist in person. Ephy, who had competed in Showjumping at the Olympics too, had sung the stallion's praises afterwards. Of course he had watched videos and seen photographs but in his opinion it wasn't enough.

A light drizzle had settled as Jet drove his hire care to Seinos Grand Stables. It wasn't far now and he hoped he would arrive on time.

Jet sighed as he got back into the hire car. The day had gone fantastically, even by his standards. The drizzle had cleared as he arrived at SGS though the dark clouds still loomed overhead. He had got on well with Eichri and Ervin, and the stallion had far exceeded his expectations. His talent was overwhelming and Jet felt he would be happy to have a foal with only a quarter of his potential. He had been surprised when rather than going to watch Violet Thunderbolt showjump, they had gone out onto the Cross Country course. He was even more surprised when he saw the stallion perform. He looked like he could easily compete in cross country at the level he had succeeded in showjumping. He was even more eager now to confirm the breeding.
