Ivan was born not only powerful but with an unusual power over darkness because of this most people saw him as a villain and were egging him on about it the straw that broke the camels back was when he found out his own mother was a villian and one of the most powerful ones when he told his best friend a powerless boy named tav he decided to let him in on a little project that he’s been working on he took him to a mountainside and revealed an entire lair in tav revealed that he’s been doing this so he’d actually be a hero he figured he’d have no shot since he was powerless.ivan told him he was crazy that there was no way that it would be impossible but then tav pulled out a gun loaded a playing card in it and then fire came out of it needless to say he was shocked he then loaded a different card in it and then shot it out a red suit with a black top hat then appeared on him he then explained everything and then asked if he wanted to join him in this and he said if it’s to stop his mother then I’ll do it but remember this we will always be a team no matter what.and so they went on with their normal lives but also doubled as the vigilante team striker thieves
