Random page from my faventure.... YEAH, THE BACKGROUNDS SUDDENLY GOT MORE DETAILED. Characters gonna end up more simplier and cartoony unless it calls for srs dramatic style time. Doing backgrounds is starting to become relaxing... Not that good yet but hey, it's all practice!
Up, just uploading this here because I like that mountain I drew. The sky's pretty nifty too since it's not just flat blue with cut out clouds on top. I'm gonna throw a fit when drawing the city and inside buildings. But at least I'm finally up to introducing another character. Yay~

Interesting. Maybe you're still doing these, and maybe you're not, but they remind me of the detailed backgrounds in sixteen bit video games. Hmmm. Maybe that isn't too flattering, and obviously I don't recall correctly anyway. Still, it was the sharp figures and the bright bold backgrounds in some of the rpgs I used to play, and a few side scrollers. As these get better, your capabilities ought to reflect the work you put into them. Hmmm. Stuff you already know.
