Yeah, some more fan art of Ashfur.
This time I'm really happy with his design. I made him more like a tabby but with more dots because this is how I imagine him. And I totally love this fur pattern.
The song is one I personally like very much (even if I can't hear it anymore after drawing this). I really thought about the character but I just couldn't resist. I have to stop drawing so much Ashfur fan art xD
I know that Ashfur and Squirrelflight never really were mates but I think for Ashfur it felt like this. He was very close to Squirrelflight when she was angry with Brambleclaw and so for him it was more like friendship and he thought Squirrelflight would feel the same. When she became mates with Brambleclaw it felt like betrayment to him. It felt like a battle and he tried everything to keep his love by his side but he losed. Squirrelflight left him for this other tom and I can imagine how this hurted Ashfur.
So this is a little tribute to him and I hope he will find his peace.
I wanted to do a speedpaint while drawing this but my PC sucks and I couldn't install any Camera-thing-program. So I will hav to fix it but maybe there will be a speedpaint in the next weeks.
I wanted to improve especially at the fur so the lines are more fluffy. But. It. Took. So. Long e_____e
Oh, and I used a tutorial by ValaSedai for the grass. You can find it in my favourites colelction because dA sucks and I can't link it here.

Bei Ashfur bin ich auch immer sehr zwiegespalten...
Einerseits hat er völlig übereagiert, andererseits hatte
er jedes Recht, sich verletzt zu fühlen.
Auf jeden Fall ein hübscher BG (mir gefällt das verwehte Gras)
und auch der Gesichtsausdruck ist gelungen.
Vielleicht könnte man das Hinterbein etwas schmaler machen
(Oberschenkel sind zwar auch in echt recht dick, aber gerade beim
Laufen ist es ja gestreckt), sonst sieht es aber wirklich gut aus :3

Ich bin selbst nicht hundertprozentig zufrieden mit dem Hintergrund, aber ehrlich gesagt hatte ich auch irgendwann einfach keine Lust mehr ^^
