Yes he is alive, he was on our railing at home when I got there after work. This is the second time this type of tree frog has visited us. You should hear them at night along with all the "peeper" tree frogs. His call is like a trill, similar to a red bellied woodpeckers. Not that I have heard a woodpecker call out.
