But you also have to understand the situation here. There's a lot at stake, there's not many options, and Riley hasn't been cooperative even when the people talking to them have been gentle with them. Riley has been trying to hatch an escape plan to get out and that was ultimately going to endanger countless lives. Jeann certainly wasn't nice, but in this situation, I think she did the right thing by stepping in to scare Riley enough to back out of their plan to wriggle their way out of this. What's going on isn't just a simple slip up; it's endangering everyone and there's so few Indicators left to deal with it. There's no freedom or flexibility to constantly be patient and gentle with someone who prefers to spit in everyone's direction. Jeann's way isn't ideal in most situations, but for here, it was very likely the only thing that was going to get through Riley's thick skull and make them understand how serious this situation is.
