i'm glad u noticed (i'm too obvious too lol) they have their own personalities and story, but i worked little to nothing on it xD someday i'll do refs of them!

I think some background about characters can make them more interesting and also it´s easier to come up with ideas for senarios to draw
I really like the concept of genderbending, I wonder why I hadn´t done this before, maybe I´ll do something like this too :3

i haven't done any background for my ocs because they are rather complex, but i don't want to change them either ;w;
i still want to share it, so i'll try my best to find a way to simplify it

I don´t think that complexity is a problem, you just have to do it right ^^
Most of my OCs are rather complex (mostly mute and aiden), you just need to know what you want to show the public and what not ^^
There are way to many details that people don´t know about my OCs yet :0
But I use that so I can make comics and storytelling in form of poems and what not ^^
If you need help, I can give you some advice, over time I learned a lot about these things :3

yeah i agree with that, i'm not good at writing stories for my ocs(i never tried until i wrote arias ref), so i cant organise that very well
