you burned down the city in me...commission for 1xXxMiaxXx6 of her long time character the Dro! He has an affinity for and control over fire, and she didn't want him playing nice in the picture, so when I found the stock photo I ran with the idea of him starting up a fire that went down even into the ground. I used a lot of different refs for this picture, even going back to an old Nocturne picture I did for help with the cracks. This picture was done a little at a time over the last two weeks and I'm pretty happy with the result! Hopefully Mia is too

Absolutely stunning work, as usual. I particularly like the relatively empty background...the composition is so strong, and it really draws the focus to the INCREDIBLE job you did of blending in that fire, really capturing the way magma looks and feels. I think what I like most about your work is the extreme attention to detail: the reflected light of the fire on his chest and legs, the flawless way the horn comes together with the forehead. And the change of the bay to dapples! FLAWLESS!
