Haruka Kotoura's past in general. Think about it. Once a Cheerful Child, her always-on telepathy causes her a myriad of bad things, including losing her friends, having her parents' relationship with her become strained to the point of divorce, and being ostracized by society, ultimately culminating in her adopting an emotionally shut-down and cynical personality.I know this sounds scary, but this broken bird like her will fly again.
