I simply cannot get this to look nice in a thumbnail... I'm SO happy with this, It took me probably around 12 hours total. I started it 2 weeks ago during a camping trip, referencing a maple leaf i found there, and practicing the shapes of it over, and over again. XD I started at the top left, and kept going down the page. It was incredibly cathartic and I really enjoyed drawing it! I did the whole pencil page that first weekend, then last week I inked it over some days, and then finally finished coloring it yesterday morning at the campground again. It was really fun and I've 100% rekindled my new interest in watercolors. The watercolor pencils that I have just couldn't seem to get the vibes that I wanted for this, so I ended up buying actual watercolors and a new MUCH smaller brush, and it was SO fun.
I did NOT use any like, blocking agent/white crayon stuff, all the white veins of the leaves were hand painted with the teeeeny brush, pure avoidance of those strips, it was part of the fun XD Thats also why there are so many errors, but I realized with autumn leaves, they are rarely perfect, so it worked

Also, a leaf character I have is hidden on here twenty times so see if you can find them all!
