Intro page for the character Gillespie a.k.a. Dizzy from the graphic novel POTENTIAL OF NINE. She is one of my favorite characters to write and draw, and I've got a lot of exciting plans for her in the future.*image update 9/26

Her chin intruding into the top of the panel is quite creative. The layout is excellent overall.

I adore the details, beautiful work! (*0*) There's just so much to look at! I think the only qualm I have with it is the girl's head floating in the upper left corner, which looks just a bit odd. But other than that, this is spectacular!

Thank you for the kind words. Yeah, with the girls head I tried to do something different than just showing her in a standard panel. Sometimes experimentation works, some times it doesn't. Thanks again

Alright, so the gradient that fades from street to the edge of the page bringing out the frames with the bubble gum pop is an excellent touch. I love the way you build up to her and what will happen next with the entire page. Starting on top with cell phone (nice touch adding the bear bling) to the black out of the girl and the focus shift to the POP of the bubble in the end. your pages keep getting better. My compliments 1000 times to everything you have done with Potential.

Thank you Brett. I tried to experiment and have some fun with this page, and I am pleased with how it turned out. I hope that each page I do for Potential keeps getting better. I'll be posting the next page in a few days.... as soon as I'm done posting all these sketches
