Description
So here's the first of a set of Art Nouveau drawings I've planned for Supernatural. Basically, I'm just going to do a bunch of the characters as I feel like it, and people can request certain ones. And as always, I have my commissions open .
So here's Meg, in all her thorny beauty! As I'm sure you can figure out, that title inspired the background behind her. The circle is decorated with devils traps, a heptagram, and African symbols (inspired by my headcanon that in her human life she was ancient Ethiopian). In the circles are the akofena, or "sword of war", which stands for courage and valor (standing for her position as Lucifer's soldier). Decorating the sides of the circles are epa, "handcuffs", a symbol of slavery and captivity, which stands for her hatred of being forced into things. At the bottom is the fawohodie, "independence. It represents freedom, emancipation. I feel that this speaks for itself in reference to Meg's personality.
Let me know how you feel about it. Line work is shaky because I keep playing with new and different styles, so I'm open to critiques.
