I wanted to redesign some of my wolf characters who desperately needed updated looks! I really loved Rowen's old design so I didn't alter him too much, but I wanted to try to emphasize how long and lean his build is. I changed Akelo to look more like his daughter (Dotw: Rahla (dormant) ). He is very stocky and compact with thick, tousled fur.Β Spade is up next for a re-design

Any tips on how to make characters look unique, I am thinking of making a small wolf pack and I a bit worried that all the characters are going to look too similar...

She was actually never in the group! I was toying with the idea of her joining, but in the end I had too many details set in stone with her to transfer her into dotw. I always wanted to make her story into a comic though, if I ever had the time!Β
Hexa and Tilika are two characters form her story that I brought into DotW, Hexa being her rival and Tilika being her mother

OHH! I understand now, that's awesome, Tazi~ Dang the stories behind your wolves are so complex and wonderful ;o; I'm gonna demand a long, detailed explanation from you at some point. I would definitely love to see you bring some of your headcanons to life in comics <3 though of course your job search comes first; in a perfect world they'd be one in the same ;; (ugh if you could live off my allowance I'd give it to you, but fml it's barely enough for groceries)
Haha never would've guessed that Hexa had a peer like that! It would be adorable to see them facing off in the way anime rivals so often do xD overblown pranks, teasing, and wonderfully goofy nonsense. Though of course Hexa had so many fans for her role in DotW <3 Wish I could've applied for one of her babies because that legacy she left behind, man ._.

Haha so true! Thank you so much, it means so much to Β me that people find the stories I make up in my head so interesting! Perhaps in the future after I've made my millions I can make a graphic novel xD Haha just kidding, but it'd make for a nice side project if I could ever muster the strength to take on that amount of work.
Oh, yes! Tilika and Rahla are opposites, though. Rahla mainly takes after her father

Thank you! You'll get used to them, it just takes some practice! their anatomy is difficult to understand but I think looking at muscular/bone charts helps a lot!
