Damn.. you guys have no idea how proud I am of this ;v;I spend I think a month on this. Sometimes I let it for a couple of time because I wasn't confident enough in myself.
Then I finished reading the book "Color and Light, a guide for the realist painter." from James Gurney and I swear that man pushed me to finish this piece ;.;
It's Kio, sitting on a swing attached to a brachiosaurus neck.
This piece is really emotional for me.
I made LOTS and LOTS of researches, for anatomy, pose, composition and colors.

c'est une création magnifique, tu as bien raison d'en être fière.
la recherche autour des émotions est bien menée, c'est chaleureux, intimidant
mais on a envie de pénétrer dans ce monde qui s'annonce plein de surprises;
tu as fait un travail de maître sur le paysage et la lumière, tout simplement percutant !

I think it's needless to say that you definitely should be proud of this.
However, can I just sit here and describe my admiration for this just a little bit? Or a lot? Idk, I kind of really suck with words sometimes lol.
But honestly, if I have ever seen so much improvement in one piece, I would say this one has to be one of if not the number one best in your gallery atm when it comes to such an amazing amount of improvement in detail, colors, and overall just scenery. At least when it comes to painting style in my opinion.
I'm in utter awe with the colors and lighting overall rn, it's just absolutely stunning bebe. It just gives off such a warm feeling I can't personally describe. Personally I feel it gives off a ton of emotion, so I can tell even if it is in the slightest that it truly was just that kind of a piece for you. I personally love Kio's pose in this and the Brachiosaur is beautiful honestly.

I had to think so much for this piece like... if you noticed, Kio don't has his tail and his candle. I thought about that and I honestly thought it'd scrap the feeling I wanted to give. The main focus was obviously the sunset, but I wanted people that looked at the piece and didn't know about Kio feel like they COULD be the person sitting on the swing and get emotionally attached to him. The candle would have been a touch, but it would have distracted the main focus of the sun. I wanted people to have a base, looking at the boy, the sauropod and the sunset, THEN explore the rest of the environment around, checking the birds and the trees.
I am so happy with the colors tbh ;v; it feels natural.. never achieved that before.

Okie dokie. I should probably mess with my brushes in Sai to be able to paint trees. Trees are the bane of my existence. XD
