That's what I was going for with the shot, the depth of field is quite shallow and this throws the background out of focus to make the subject (the masts) stand out as they are the only things in focus. But thank you very much for the comment

Did you produce the depth of field effect or is it the work of the camera? Because it seems to me the depht of field would be more gradual passover from sharp to blurry from the mast section(foreground/sharp) to the background section(clouds that are behind the section of the masts/blurry).

I set the camera to an aperture of 7.1 and the camera produces the image, it's not a fliter or post editing.
