It's finally time to unleash the Beast!!
Mega vs Mega in a showy, grand finale worthy of two serious battlers like Felix and Franz ~ And it's said that Trainers get to know each other best through intense battles like these, with these two being no exception, as Franz's perception of both himself and Felix has gained a little respect.
Who knew that all the old man needed was just a tough opponent to throw himself at? X'D
Artwise, forget the snow and ice being a hassle, friggin' ALASKA UUUGHHHHH. All the time I 'saved' on having less panels for BGs in this page ended up being spent on this absolute monster. I mean, I love him, but wow he's a bitch to draw. X'D
Also want to give a special thanks to my opponent MrTwinklehead (check out their entry here! ), who was a ton of fun to talk with during the round, and Felix was a blast to write. I'm hoping we'll get to have our jerkass trainers clash again soon ~

This has been such a wild ride, excellent work as per usual! Like I've said in our conversations, I'm always so stunned by your work and the quickness you showed early on. But yeeaaaah I can definitely feel on the Alaska part, especially Mega. I got so stuck on all those lines for so long myself. ;w;
I hope they can interact again in the future too, I'd love that! TAT I honestly think Franz could leave a big impression on Felix should he be exposed to him more. I'm really glad you had fun writing Felix, he's a kind of character that I don't create very often because I fear people will think I'm that kind of person myself but I'm glad that the people I've talked to likes him.

The jerk-asses are usually a lot more interesting to write and explore simply because their flaws are that much more apparent, it's why I'm enjoying pulling Franz back into the game, but they can be that much harder to do well too. :'D
I was really sad to see Felix didn't make it through though! I definitely still want them to interact a bit more though, so if you're still up for it, a few events in the future could be fun?

I gotta admit, Jerk With a Heart of Gold is one of my absolute favorite tropes when it comes to characters. But yeah, doing them well is definitely one of the harder parts.
Yeah, I got bummed too but if anything I was happy to make it as far as I did, it was fun and I do plan to do the Afterlife part whenever part 2 comes out so Felix isn't gonna go away. He's gonna be there, in the shadows, being a little goblin. X P
And absolutely, I'm super up for that! When and if they release a third batch of side events, maybe we can pick one or two of them and brainstorm from that?

I'd love that! I've enjoyed using the side events as a chance to show sides of Franz that people just don't know about, as well as enjoying the opportunity to interact with others outside of rounds ~
